Cano Sentinel

Role completed

Developer · Canopée, May – Sept. 2026

ATmega mobile robot

Completed

Course project · Polytechnique Montréal, Winter 2026

Autonomous ATmega324PA robot that leaves its parking spot, inspects rooms along a course and parks itself.

The two-wheeled mobile robot, with its circuit board and wiring
Problem
Complete the course with no human help, then save the inspection results in memory to print a report.
My contribution
  • In a team of four, wrote and tested the C++ classes for the motors, wheels, timer and distance sensor.
  • Programmed the navigation with the team: wall following, corridors and parking.
  • Saved the inspection results to EEPROM and added a sound when an object is detected.

About

I like exploring different fields through hands-on projects. Development lets me build applications, and my role as a product manager is teaching me how to understand a client’s needs and organize a team’s work.

I’m also interested in consulting and finance, which I’m exploring further through a portfolio analysis project. Alongside that, I’m learning to use AI to develop more efficiently, while paying close attention to understanding and verifying the code.
